Hey there!
Yes I am still alive! Things are settling down/stabilizing with roommate, and the sort of schedule is helping. I tried writing during a couple of the commutes, on hard copy, and while that doesn't seem to work really well, I can make some notes.

So, things have been fairly frenetic this week, but calming down slightly. I'm missing a routine--any routine--but I have gotten a little writing done here and there as I can.
New kitteh Natasha is settling in fairly well, thank god, though she's a bit skittish. I'm told she's a lap cat, we'll see.
I'm hoping to try a couple of prompts and dip my toe back into fandom writing--god knows I have a lot I want and need to do!

We've had a devastating life changing week here, and as a result, writing hasn't been a priorty. But I did get some done in the early paart of the week, before everything went to hell.

That represents:

Not *quite* where I wanted to be word count wise, but better than I expected projects wise.

Things have calmed down here. silvertales went home last week, Dh is doing just great and while work is a bit crazy, it is manageable.

Between Cinders, Dh's surgery, my PT and a nasty cold/virus thingie, I haven't written a word this last week. I'm starting to feel more human (THANK GOD) Dh is doing well, and Kit is (sadly for us, happy for Panda) back home now.

After roughly 67 hours of labor, they finally gave SIL the C-section she NEEDED. "Tardy" was born about 5:30 am today, 6 pd, 15 oz and mom, baby and daddy are all okay! He's a gorgeous little guy!!

Feeling a bit better here, but family stress is very high--on all sides.

Still with the fever but generally feeling better.
Unfortunately, our eldest kitteh isn't--he gets really bad, he rallies, and then repeats the cycle. He's 14 now and I'm pretty concerned, but our vet seems to think as with most things, it is a matter of time, could be days or weeks, could be months or years. So far, he's eating great and has a lot of energy bursts, so we're very much in wait and see mode.
Despte working another 70+ hr week, I got LOTS of writing done, and checked a major project offf my list (Okay, in first draft format). This project has been lingering since late 2005 (not even joking) and I hadn't written a word on it in over a year. Now that it is done (for now anyway LOL), I don't even know how to feel.
Okay, onward word count :) I'm very pleased this week ;)
