Hi there :)

Still with the fever but generally feeling better.

Unfortunately, our eldest kitteh isn't--he gets really bad, he rallies, and then repeats the cycle. He's 14 now and I'm pretty concerned, but our vet seems to think as with most things, it is a matter of time, could be days or weeks, could be months or years. So far, he's eating great and has a lot of energy bursts, so we're very much in wait and see mode.

Despte working another 70+ hr week, I got LOTS of writing done, and checked a major project offf my list (Okay, in first draft format). This project has been lingering since late 2005 (not even joking) and I hadn't written a word on it in over a year. Now that it is done (for now anyway LOL), I don't even know how to feel.

Okay, onward word count :) I'm very pleased this week ;)

Whoo-hoo!! I'm so glad to hear about your book! I know that's been beating you up. You are a writing MACHINE! ;-)

Very sorry about Cinders. I know how that goes. It's normal, but it's always a rough process to go through. Rougher for us sometimes, I think, because we know what's coming. They go through the bad times and then mostly forget them when they get better.

Thanks :0 I don't know what it was--actually id o, it was that "Yes I SHOULD write Character X pov). Unfortunately, my writing partner hasn't even cracked it yet, so I don't know if it will ultimately work.

Cinders is frolicking again! Its wonderful but confusing, but I'll take it!

I feel for you so much regarding your kitty! I hope he is better soon, but it definitely is a great sign that he continues to eat. As with anything regarding animals I'm a total softy, but I think the eating is one of the first things the vet will ask about.

As for working 70+ hours and still got some writing in, I ask how the heck do you do that? My work is often a lot of hours, but occasionally I have slow weeks which was this past week. I take those and treat them like gold because they are so rare. I hope things calm down this week and that your writing continues to flow easily for you.

Big hugs to the furry one (and you)!

Thanks so much! We have two my husband brought over from Australia. One is 13 the other 14, and neither is doing great.

How I do the writing? Insomnia mostly of late. I'm sleeping only 2-3 hours a night (with the odd 90 min to 2 hour nap during the day).

Many hugs!

Awww, Cinders! *hugs* This holiday season and into 2013 hasn't been good for pets at all :(

I'm glad for your writing, sorry for your fever, and send my bestest thoughts for your kitty.

Sorry to hear about your cat... I'm going through much the same thing with my oldest dog, who will be fifteen if he makes it to mid-March, so I know what you're going through.

Congrats on the word count! Nice going... I'm trying to get back into writing - the tragedy here in town shut down any creativity, but I think I'm getting back on track.

Hugs to you and the furkid!

Oh no, Kes :( Many hugs for you both!

And I hope your inspiration comes back soon!

Thanks! Old guy is doing ok, new pain meds seem to be helping. And I did start writing again this week, posting the beginning of my next FIOverse installment on Sunday. So some normalcy is returning to my life. *hugs to you and your kitty*

I hate lingering sickness. Boo!

And I'm jealous of that word count. Most definitely.

And :( on kitty... My mom's cat that survived the fire is somehow still kicking, despite having some kind of nerve damage or something from either a fall or some type of stroke. We also had a cat many years ago that reached 19 despite being told she would die around 13 from feline leukemia. I think it is the well water. Best wishes!

I'm glad its low grade but...still annoying!

Oh wow, I'm so glad your mom's cat is hanging in. Hugs!!

Glad your health is slowly getting better. Sorry about the moggy, hugs.
I feel knackered just after reading how much you've written :-))
Don't forget to rest now and again.
Take care.

I'm so sorry to hear about the kittie - bless. It sounds like you're doing all you can but I know how worrying that is.

Go you on the writing! That's brilliant! Plus it must be a real relief to get a long standing project off your plate!!!

From: [identity profile] taylorgibbs.livejournal.com

Thanks so much! Yesterday, he was very inactive, today bouncy. Its so hard to quantify what the next day will bring.

OMg you have NO idea how big a relief having that book off my plate is! :)

Fingers crossed your kitty keeps rallying for some time to come. I know how that feels - Reg tends to look like he's on his last legs, then perks up again. *hugs for both you and the cat* x
