"Tardy" is here!

After roughly 67 hours of labor, they finally gave SIL the C-section she NEEDED. "Tardy" was born about 5:30 am today, 6 pd, 15 oz and mom, baby and daddy are all okay! He's a gorgeous little guy!!

Love the nickname, he sure earned it. I hope the nurses let them sleep as long as they want. They've both got to tired after all that.

Thanks so much! My mom and stepdad took the baby for about 4 hours while they slept. It was a nice bonding experience for the new grandparents, too, and stepdad is a nurse, so the staff wasn't too worried about him cuddling wit Tardy.
