I've noticed a lessening of replies--would it help if I did a weekend catch-up post? I may try that tomorrow and see :) (ETA: Weekend post is added :)

Okay!! All I have left are bonuses, which I'll be doing gradually in their own posts, so I'm opening up a mini August meme. This (and early Sept.) should be my last crazy times--no more trips for several months after my very next trip--thank GOD.

Original fic prompts welcome, but nothing in the Ronan and Steel verse please. I'm trying to settle the arc there and would like to keep this post for "fun" rather than "work" writing :)
Tell me a story I haven’t written, and I will give you 1-3 sentences from or about it. Or, knowing me, a few paragraphs, a page, or a promise of a much longer fic Lol!
This will be a link to the master post.
A few rules.
I'll write NCIS, It Takes a Thief, Chicago Hope, light crossovers with various shows/book series (send me a PM or just prompt and I'll yea or nay ya).
No rape fic, no child abuse, no promptor insertion fics, no overt physical/emotional abuse by hero character. No sequels to other people's stories. No sneak peeks of commissioned fics. No duplicate or very similar prompts. No characters having sexual and/or romantic bonds with anyone under 18. No RPF/RPS. No obviously OOC characters.
Please make sure prompts are simple and easy to meet in a few hundred words. If your prompt is a paragraph or more longer, or has many plot points, it isn't likely to be able to be met in this format.
Het, gen, slash prompts welcome. AU, paranormal welcome. Just please no Tony/Ziva or Gibbs/Jenny. These aren't pairings I'm able to write. Please no wildly OOC prompts. No pregnancy or MPREG prompts, no crossdressing.
If a prompt isn't working for me and/or blocks me, I reserve the right to ask you for a substitute prompt.

“Any idea what you want to eat?” Dot asked, giving him a warm smile. Gibbs had been coming to this diner for years, and they knew him well; he was typically a creature of habit. “The usual?”
Gibbs shook his head—he wasn’t in the mood for eggs and bacon right now, not this late at night. “How about some pork chops, applesauce. Mashed potato.”
“Done,” she said, winking at him. As the bell over the door tinkled, she looked up, sending an appreciative look over Gibbs’ shoulder. The back of his neck tingled and his gut clenched, and Gibbs reached for his gun, not sure how to classify this feeling beyond being unsettled.
“Sit anywhere you like, hon,” Dot said, and Gibbs tilted his head, his hand around his gun. Just in case.
What he saw made him catch his breath, a bolt of arousal knocking him back in his seat.
It was the model. The businessman. The hunk.
DiNozzo.
Fully clothed now, not that it mattered.
He slid into the chair right next to Gibbs, his jean-clad leg brushing Gibbs’, his emerald-green shirt bringing out the color in his eyes. He’d showered and shaved, but instead of looking freshly scrubbed and squeaky clean, there was something clinging to him, a dangerous edge.
And Gibbs was drawn to it.
“Come here often, Detective?” DiNozzo asked, a teasing little smile on his face.
“Special Agent,” Gibbs corrected.
“Too bad you’re not in uniform,” DiNozzo said in an undertone, giving Gibbs a look that couldn’t be interpreted as anything but a come on. “I love a man in uniform.”
“What are you having, hon?” Dot asked, putting Gibbs’ milk down and giving DiNozzo her warmest smile.
“Him,” DiNozzo said in a voice that dripped sex. Gibbs regarded him, not reacting, though he desperately wanted to. He just wasn’t sure if he wanted to headslap the cocky bastard, or haul him close and kiss him.
“What’s that?”
“Whatever he’s having. To go.”
“To go?”
“Yeah, we’re eating at your place right, Jethro?” DiNozzo leaned in and licked—LICKED—Gibbs’ earlobe, that bold of lust exploding into need he could barely control. “Clothing optional. I know you liked what you saw,” DiNozzo finished in a whisper.
“Yeah, to go,” Gibbs echoed, wondering how the hell his life had spiraled so far out of control so soon.
“You boys have fun.” Dot said ten minutes later as she packaged the steaming food in to go containers. She gave Gibbs a wink and leaned close. “I like this one better than those redheaded bimbos, Jethro. You enjoy him, he looks like a lot of fun.”
“I will,” Gibbs managed.
