I still have Feb prompts to catch up on, but I wanted to do a March one, no matter how small.

Tell me a story I haven’t written, and I will give you 1-3 sentences from or about it. Or, knowing me, a few paragraphs, a page, or a promise of a much longer fic Lol!

I'm taking 10 prompts for now. Anything prompted in the previous post is a bonus. This will be a link to the master post. My hope is that I'll have Feb and March done by April 1 ;)

A few rules.

Only 1 prompt per poster for now. Bonuses do not count toward the total.

I'll write NCIS, CSINY (first 3 seasons only), It Takes a Thief, Chicago Hope, light crossovers with various shows/book series (send me a PM or just prompt and I'll yea or nay ya), original fic.

No rape fic, no child abuse, no promptor insertion fics, no overt abuse by hero character. No sequels to other people's stories. No sneak peeks of commissioned fics. No duplicate or very similar prompts. No characters having sexual and/or romantic bonds with anyone under 18.

Het, gen, slash prompts welcome. AU, paranormal welcome. Just please no Tony/Ziva, Stella/Mac, Danny/Lindsay, or Gibbs/Jenny These aren't pairings I'm able to write. Please no wildly OOC prompts. Due to a recent tragedy in my personal life, I cannot do pregnancy or MPREG prompts, sorry. That just hits way too close to home and family anguish.

If a prompt isn't working for me and/or blocks me, I reserve the right to ask you for a substitute prompt.

For alicia. Nick/Gibbs/Tony - Tony goes missing and his men have to use their own strengths to get him back, in short, Nick's charm and Gibbs' brass ones.

for djmicheals_fics Gibbs/Tony - Gibbs accidentally ingests laced Gummi bears and comes to some realizations along with becoming *touchy-feely*. Afterwards, he has to reconcile what he discovered about himself against what he always thought to be true.

Tony/Gibbs with Mac and his lover (Don, Danny or Adam) coming to visit and Tony learns more about Gibbs's past and how Mac knew Gibbs.

Tony time travels and meets one of his favorite movie stars, and Gibbs is somehow associated with that movie star.

Tony had been a combination of nervous and excited when Gibbs had mentioned one of his old Marine buddies was visiting. A joint taskforce on terrorism was bringing some of NYPD’s finest to DC, and one of Gibbs’ old buddies was coming.

NCIS had caught a hot case, and whole Vance and Cybercrimes were there, Tony, Gibbs, and the team had to work their case. They’d wrapped it earlier today, and Gibbs had invited his friend over for dinner.

Tony’d expected Chinese or pizza, but Gibbs had stopped at the grocery store, picking up several steaks, some prepared veggies—rather than beans—and a chocolate cake. Tony arched a brow and Gibbs gave him a slight smirk.

He’d relaxed slightly as Gibbs had begun cooking, watching his lover as he moved, actually using the broiler rather than the fireplace, making sure a six pack was cooling. The care to detail was subtle, but Tony saw it for what it was—this Mac guy meant something to him. And the fact that he wasn’t hiding being out to him said its own story.

When a knock came at the door, Tony rushed to get it, Gibbs chuckling behind him. He threw the door open, looking at the two men who stood on the porch. One was probably late forties, maybe early fifties, short and slight, but something told Tony not to underestimate him. The other guy was taller, about Tony’s height, and maybe his age. Both of them had very short haircuts and screamed law enforcement.

“DiNozzo,” he said, extending his hand. The shorter man pumped it first, his grip strong.

“Mac Taylor. This is Don Flack.” He looked Tony up and down, clearly appraising him, and then nodded. “You’re DiNozzo.”

“He’s DiNozzo, Lieutenant,” Gibbs said, coming up behind Tony. “Mac,” he added, his voice softening.

“Not for a lot of years, Gunny,” Mac said, pulling Gibbs into a tight hug. There was the male bonding back slapping thing, but there was more to it, and Tony gave the other guy a look. The guy shrugged, his brow furrowed.

“How do you two know each other?” Don asked suddenly, and Tony gave him a little smirk. Better him than Tony. He waited for the headslap, but Mac just gave his friend a fond look, much like the look Tony knew Gibbs gave him. Usually before a headslap.

“Beirut,” Mac said quietly. “He was there…that day.” A shadow came over his face and Tony bit his lip, not daring to speak, looking between the men and waiting patiently for more. He had a feeling this was significant.

Tony could only watch as Gibbs and Mac had a silent conversation, Gibbs finally cupping the back of Mac’s head. Some part of Tony screamed that he should be jealous, but he couldn’t quite muster it. This was important.

“He almost died,” Gibbs said, his voice raspy. “Bleeding out all over my hands.” He turned to look at Tony. “Shrapnel, the barrack bombing.”

“Right over my chest,” Mac added.

“He’d hurt his knee, couldn’t get away,” Mac managed a thin smile, but Tony had the sense it had cost Mac a lot to tell the story.

“Became friends that day,” Gibbs added, stepping back and nudging Tony’s shoulder. Gibbs was vibrating slightly, shaking. He never shook, but this…

It had clearly been a defining moment in both men’s lives.

“Friendship like that won’t ever die, Gunny.” Mac rubbed his hands together, leaning slightly against Don. “Now how about feeding us, Jethro.”

Like that, the mood was broken, but Tony knew he’d been given a glimpse, a deep insight to Gibbs very few, if any, people had.

“Thanks,” he said in an undertone.

“Deserved to know, DiNozzo.”
