Since this has been wonderful for my creativity, here is month 2 :)
Tell me a story I haven’t written, and I will give you 1-3 sentences from or about it. Or, knowing me, a few paragraphs, a page, or a promise of a much longer fic Lol!
I'm taking 20 prompts for now. Anything prompted in the previous post is a bonus. This will be a link to the master post. Blue entries are complete. Black still pending :)

Only 2 prompts per poster for now. Bonuses do not count toward the total. If I open things up later in the month, it may be a free for all, so start saving prompts.
I'll write NCIS, CSINY (first 3 seasons only), It Takes a Thief, Chicago Hope, light crossovers with various shows/book series (send me a PM or just prompt and I'll yea or nay ya), original fic.
No rape fic, no child abuse, no promptor insertion fics, no overt abuse by hero character. No sequels to other people's stories. No sneak peeks of commissioned fics. No duplicate or very similar prompts. No characters having sexual and/or romantic bonds with anyone under 18.
Het, gen, slash prompts welcome. AU, paranormal welcome. Just please no Tony/Ziva, Stella/Mac, Danny/Lindsay, or Gibbs/Jenny These aren't pairings I'm able to write. Please no wildly OOC prompts. Due to a recent tragedy in my personal life, I cannot do pregnancy or MPREG prompts, sorry. That just hits way too close to home and family anguish.

Coming Out Day Pt 1
Tony could never have expected this. People of his kind had always hidden themselves, walking beside mundane humans, but never revealing their true nature. That was kept for shifter-only events, the camps Tony’d been sent to as a child, the members’ only resorts he went to as an adult.
But a solar storm had flipped some switch genetically and last weekend every shifter had changed spontaneously. Tony’d been home alone watching a movie, and his tiger self hadn’t done much more than broken a few glasses as he’d stumbled and staggered off the couch.
It could have been much much worse. As it was, some three hundred deaths had been attributed to the spontaneous change, most of them when a pilot had turned rhino, his copilot, a lemur, unable to handle the stick. It should have never happened, but the shifter government had gotten far too complacent.
This had been a huge wake up call for every shifter, from newly shifted teens to the elderly.
Governments around the world had reacted in different ways. The third-world nations had been the worst, as expected, and a few shifters appeared to be in legal hot water for their crimes.
The United States had enacted a “Coming Out” day, where shifters were legally required to inform their bosses and the government of their status. Since nobody knew when or if a spontaneous shift might happen, Tony though it best to comply.
Even though it ruffled his fur.
He’d asked the team to meet him in Abby’s lab, and he brought coffee and pastries. It shouldn’t be so damn civilized, but it was. Tony just hoped the team wouldn’t look at him any differently, not that there was a damn thing he could do about it.
He walked into the lab, seeing Gibbs and Abby standing together, staring at a screen. Tony approached, knowing they were aware of him. They were staring at her computer screen rather than projecting the image onto the wall unit. New shifter database, Abby’d already found a way in.
They were reading the entry for Tony’s father, a tiger himself. Sometimes these things went along genetic family lines, and it did for him.
“You a tiger too?” Gibbs asked, eyes fixed on the screen. Tony couldn’t read his expression and unease stared curling in his stomach. Gibbs extended a hand and Tony automatically handed him a coffee.

Part 2 Coming Out Day
“I bet he’s gorgeous with those green eyes. God, Tony, you have to show us sometime. I can’t believe one of us is a shifter. It is so cool!” Abby sucked hard on her straw, pulling some Caf Pow in. Tony tried to settle his nerves and looked over at Gibbs.
“That gonna be a problem, Boss?” he asked, his voice low and quiet. Though Tony was glad that he was doing this with the two closest members of the team first, he couldn’t help feeling damn nervous and scared. This could change everything, how couldn’t it?
Gibbs turned to look at Tony, and Tony could see that Boss’ eyes were overly bright, almost moist. “Shannon was…”
“Was?” Tony asked, swallowing hard.
“Little playful kitten,” Gibbs replied, rubbing a hand over his face. “Had to be careful when she was pregnant. Kelly never…had a chance.”
Gibbs never talked about family, and Tony never expected this revelation. Gibbs knew about shifters? That was…amazing.
“I’m sorry,” Tony whispered. He wasn’t surprised when Gibbs looked off into the distance. “Is it gonna be a problem, Boss?”
“No, Tony,” Gibbs replied, his voice barely above a whisper. “I always told Shannon I’d be honored to work beside any shifter. Just tell me if feel like you’re gonna…change against your will.”
“Will do, Boss.”
Tony fell silent, quelling Abby’s stream of questions with a finger across his lips. It was clear Gibbs was still adjusting. As soon as everyone was in the room, Gibbs turned to the team. Ducky looked wary, Palmer curious. McGee was as serious as Tony had ever seen him, and Ziva was on the pale side.
“Coming Out Day,” Gibbs said, sipping his coffee. “Anyone got anything to say?”
“No, Boss,” McGee replied. Ziva just shook her head. Palmer and Ducky looked at each other, heads shaking in unison.
“One shifter on the team then,” Gibbs said by way of an announcement. “Tony’s a shifter—a tiger. He’s gonna tell us what we need to look for.”
“Tony’s what?” McGee said, his voice rising an octave on the last word. He turned to look at Tony, and Tony nodded coolly, wondering how McGee was going to take it.
“Wow!” A little flush came across McGee’s face and he nodded enthusiastically. “Can I... Do you mind if Tommy…”
“That’s fine,” Tony replied, a little of the tightness in his chest easy. “Boss…what do you need me to do?”
“We’re gonna tell Vance together, have Duck draw your blood. Then everything back to normal.” Gibbs paused and Tony watched him fix each member of the team with a long look. “Anyone got a problem with that?”
Tony held his breath as each member of the team—Gibbs’ team, HIS team—assured them that everything was fine. Gibbs clapped Tony on the shoulder, and Tony leaned in, absorbing the other man’s strength and comforting presence.
“Back to work,” Gibbs said, his fingers squeezing Tony’s tense muscles gently. “All gonna be fine.”
And Tony really believed it would be.
