Since this has been wonderful for my creativity, I'm going to try to do a monthly post as well.

Tell me a story I haven’t written, and I will give you 1-3 sentences from or about it. Or, knowing me, a few paragraphs, a page, or a promise of a much longer fic Lol!

I'm taking 15 prompts for now. Anything prompted in the previous post is a bonus. This will be a link to the master post.

Update: prompts are closed for now, but as these are done, I'll open up another post, as long as these are done before Feb 1. Otherwise, we'll hit the Feb post :)

A few rules.
Only 2 prompts per poster for now. Bonuses do not count toward the total.

I'll write NCIS, CSINY (first 3 seasons only), It Takes a Thief,Chicago Hope, light crossovers with various shows/book series (send me a PM or just prompt and I'll yea or nay ya), original fic.

No overt death fic, no promptor insertion fics, no overt abuse by hero character. No sequels to other people's stories.

Het, gen, slash prompts welcome. AU, paranormal welcome. Just please no Tony/Ziva, Stella/Mac, Danny/Lindsay, or Gibbs/Jenny These aren't pairings I'm able to write.

One of two things should happen - if this is ER, it's a beautifully bittersweet moment because they can't do this as themselves or, if it's FT, the setting and the situation open both their eyes.

Tony's in a coma. Either again or this could be from NotB (or something similar). Gibbs is trying to tell Jack just what Tony means to him. It could either be a "coming out to Dad" story or just a rare moment when Gibbs just needs to be able to *say* it to someone he knows won't judge him for him... or at least hopes won't judge him for it.

While Ducky talks to their corpses, never expecting answers, Tony actually can speak to the dead... and they talk back. The recent string of murders has been a ploy to draw NCIS... the killer is obsessed with Tony and wants him for his own.

Established/First time up to you, but would prefer some kind of Tibbs, as opposed to gen.

Caged ending 2

I couldn’t stick with 1, so there are 3. Only the ending changed. Want 1 continued? More than 1? Tell me! This bunny has a lot of potentials. I could do mega AUs so that only the prompt is the same.

Tony had known in his gut that something was very wrong, but his bosses weren’t on board and he’d done what he could without risking that he be arrested, jailed, or caged too.

And when the call had come, Tony hadn’t reacted beyond grabbing his gun, a wad of money and credit cards, his jacket, and rushing out of his apartment. He didn’t even think of calling backup, though he sent Abby a text message. At least if this was a trap and he disappeared, someone would know. She’d get in touch with his father, who was the only person with the capital to break him out.

But Tony knew this was for real. Something in his gut had told him so, and he’d learned to trust it many years ago, training under the best boss he had.

He gave state ID when asked by the musclebound guy outside the warehouse in southeast. The guy made a couple calls and Tony’s skin crawled. This was a rough area at the best of times, and he didn’t want his back exposed. Ignoring the look from the bouncer, Tony put his back to the wall, scanning the streets. There was nobody out there, but Tony was damn sure they were watching.

“Got something of yours,” the guy said, and the door opened with several electronic clicks. “Go insider, verify, collect and leave. If you need help getting it to the car, tell us. I keep this until you’re done, you get that.” The man held on to Tony’s ID and handed him a beeper. Tony glared for a moment, shrugged and went inside. They hadn’t frisked him, but Tony had a feeling he’d been electronically scanned.

Another musclebound man took Tony’s beeper and consulted it, leading him through large storerooms and narrow hallways. They finally arrived at a back room, and beeper blinked rapidly emitting a low tone and a blue glow.

“Go inside. She’ll meet you there.”

She? The manager of this facility was a woman? Tony shivered and strode in, a mixture of anticipation quickening his steps and trepidation slowing them. What if he wasn’t okay? What if he was injured? Maimed?

Broken!

He entered the dim room his heart pounding. And even though he knew he shouldn’t, he ran to the cage, curling his hands around the bars.

The large cage could hold three or four inmates, but there was only one here now. Thank god. He was naked, his hair mussed but clean, a day’s beard growth shadowing his jaw. And his eyes were hopeless. Tony’d seen a lot of emotions from his lover before, but had never seen this expression. No matter how bad it got, they were a team and they relied on each other. The wrongness of this shook him to the core and he had to look away.

“If he isn’t claimed, or if you avow knowledge of him, we’ll have to work with the authorities, and he could be sold. As per Code 7812.8 paragraph—” A soft voice spoke from behind Tony and he turned, eyeing her, cutting her off with a hand slash.

“Where did you find him, and why didn’t you scan him for ICE info? I’m listed as his ICE! You know? In case of emergency!”

“His chip malfunctioned when he was rescued from a ship taking illegal slaves to Europe,” she replied. “After they got him out of there and brought him here, along with the others, we tried to scan him. They either sabotaged his chip or it suffered a major malfunction. Our medics aren’t sure. He tripped over into a tortured state for seventeen hours, thirty two minutes. We had to sedate him. We’ve backed off the sedation, but he’s been uncommunicative since.”

She clucked her tongue and made a sound of sympathy. “ Homeland Security and Slave Relations have been working with the FBI to sort out where these people belong, but it isn’t easy when their chips don’t read correctly. We had several others trip into a tortured state and a few more became violently ill.” She sighed, shaking her head, her dark red ponytail bobbing.

“Special Agent Fornell recognized him and phoned you. He belongs to you, doesn’t he?”

Thank god for Fornell, Tony thought. The guy drove him crazy sometimes, but he may have saved the day.
