“What have we got, Boss?” McGee asked, glancing at the file Gibbs held. His eyes snagged and held on the commander and Gibbs fought the urge to snap the file closed.
“Commander Anthony DiNozzo. DADT discharge. He was indentured to an admiral two years ago to serve out his term. He’s up for freedom and a honorable discharge if he fulfills the contract. Ends in June, next year. Neighbor has reported hearing him scream several times, and he’s been heavily bruised. His case manager reported a change in demeanor, and the admiral refused to leave them alone.”
It was like a million other cases they’d dealt with. And was the reason they were the best. “Paula, start surveillance. Cassie, get me all the background you can about Admiral Seaton. McGee, financials. We’re going to get this slave out ASAP.”
