Tony talks about family with either Alex or Nick, in particular his thoughts and feelings on kids. I'd prefer Alex, he's cute.

For Keeps
They’d all been furious and snapping at each other. The director had sent them home before they’d finished their reports, and Jethro hadn’t fought it. Alex had tried to talk with his brother, but Jethro wasn’t having any of it. Even before Alex had casually suggested showing up, his brother had shaken his head, giving Alex a glare and telling him to stay the hell away.
He sat down beside Tony, dangling his feet into the water.
“You okay?”
“Guess so,” Tony said with a shrug. He was more subdued than Alex could remember seeing.
“What’s on your mind?”
“Kids.”
“What about them?” Alex asked, aware he was leading Tony along step by very small step.
“How a parent could do that.”
Alex knew that Tony hadn’t had an ideal childhood, and he’d been concerned that this might tear open barely healed wounds.
“It’s why I’m never going to be a father,” Tony continued, his voice soft. “My mom was an alcoholic, my father a con man.”
“They’re not you,” Alex reminded, nudging Tony’s shoulder with his.
Tony nodded, sighing. “But I couldn’t take the chance. I don’t get kids, Alex. And with my family’s history…” He trailed off, shrugging. “Did you know I donated to a sperm bank. Nobody wanted my swimmers.”
“Bullshit, I do.” Alex angle a look over to Tony, making sure not to stare.
“Yeah, but until they perfect male pregnancy…” Tony said, trailing off.
“There’s adoption.”
“Would you really want to?”
“Maybe,” Alex allowed. He’d loved being Kelly’s uncle, loved children, and has always hoped to be a father.
“What if I screwed up with him or her?”
“You wouldn’t. You know their shortcomings. And you have me by your side. And Jethro wouldn’t let you screw up his niece or nephew. Think about it, Tony. Don’t rush it. Whatever your decision, I’m here by your side. For keeps.”
“For keeps.”
