Charity and custom fanfic

This Christmas, I selected a charity that I turned my creative energies to the Bengal Rescue Network. I'm very proud to report that $450.00 was raised to help these special cats. Additionally, one, possibly two, readers will be adopting kitties. I'm absolutely overwhelmed by your generosity!!!! Since not all of the folks are on LJ, I don't feel comfortable mentioning all their names.

I'm gradually writing the stories, which will be posted throughout the next few months.

I've also been a part of the [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti charity drive. I offered two custom fanfics, plus one co-written one, which has since turned into five :) There was a tie in my thread, so I'll be writing three stories rather than two, and another reader generously offered to match a bid. In total, $490.00 was raised from my offerings :) Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] auntstacy, [livejournal.com profile] murgy31, and [livejournal.com profile] xanthelj for bidding and Nicola for matching a bid!

Annnd...I'm offering one more chance at a custom fic (or two) at the NFA Haiti auction. You can check out my thread here.

These stories will be intersprsed around my current WIPs.

Thanks for reading :):)

The amount you raised for the bengal rescue is just wonderful - as is the fact that a cat or two might get new homes out of it. *Hugs you*. You've been brilliant!

And yay to the Help Haiti auction too. I'm so looking forward to my fic *g*.

I'll have a think about doing something like this for an animal charity myself now I've seen how it can work having done the Haiti auction. So thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks so much! I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to help the kitties and the residents of Haiti. Please keep me posted on your animal charity, if that works out!
